How is Septoplasty Different from a Rhinoplasty?

There are several types of nasal surgeries performed to improve the appearance of
Nose. Each Surgery is different from other surgeries. Both comes under category of nasal cosmetic procedures. One of biggest differences need to concern is why the surgeries are performed.

The goal of a septoplasty is to correct the deviated septum issue that is leaning too far to one side or the other and makes congestion. While Rhinoplasty can be performed to  make a nose smaller or bigger, or to lessen crooked  or to remove out a hump in the nose. It can be performed to regain original shape to improve the way a person’s nose looks. A person doesn’t have deviated septum may undergo rhinoplasty to enhance the shape or size of nose that creates breathing problems.

If you feel any nose related issues it is better to consult a nose surgeon. It is possible for a surgeon to combine the 2 surgeries into 1 procedure.
